Eyes to See

Federal Way Zone

Happy Monday everyone!!! I can't believe it's already March. Time flies out here!! It was a pretty basic week here full of meetings and lessons!!

The highlights of this past week were Zone Conference and MLC! We learned a ton about having courage as missionaries and as disciples of Jesus Christ in general. I left really uplifted and excited for the next coming months. President and Sister Beardall really are the greatest and I'm grateful for all the time I got to spend with them this past week and all the things we learned together!! The only rough thing about Zone Conference was forgetting to clean our car for our monthly inspections. We ended up deciding to do a hail mary effort in the last 10 minutes and taking Clorox wipes to the outside of our Rav4 hahaha! It was so funny. It got even better when we saw the look on our driving coordinator's face as he walked up to us, followed by a "Hermanas are you serious?" Haha not our greatest moment but definitely worth the laughs.

We were fed a lot this week by members either with their homemade dinners or food from their favorite restaurants. I kid you not when I say that every single time we got tacos. I'm not complaining at all but definitely am good to switch it up from carne asada tacos for the next few weeks hahaha! I love the members here in Dumas Bay and their love for tacos.

For a spiritual thought this week I wanted to share an idea that President Beardall discussed with us during MLC. He challenged us that as we experience trials and hard moments in the work, to pray for eyes to see. Eyes to see the angels and divine messengers that surround us each and every day. He reminded us of the thousands of ancestors we each have that walk beside us and help us in our daily efforts. I felt so loved and so blessed to know that I have that celestial help anytime I need it! I know the veil is thin when we are in times of need and I'm grateful to say that on a daily basis I feel the companionship of my grandpas in heaven right next to me. I hope all of you know that in your own times of fear or sadness, praying for eyes to see can open up our eternal perspective and help us feel the love of our many angels cheering us on from the other side!

Also….this might sound really cheesy but one of my goals for March is to have better and more specific prayers! In order to do this I've started a little prayer roll on a small white board I keep under my bed that I can use every morning and night. So if any one of you is in need of prayers just send me a message and I would love to send some love and Heavenly help from Washington that week :)

I love you all so much!! Have an awesome week. Thank you for all the support as always! I'm thankful for each and every one of you.

Sending love from chilly Seattle!!
