Miracles in Dumas Bay

Reunited with Hermana Z and Hermana Wies

Hola hola hola!!

Another crazy week in the books. This week absolutely flew by! We were crazy busy with lessons, meetings and exchanges and I can't believe it's already Monday again. I hope everyone back home is doing well!!

The work went so well this week!! We taught some amazing lessons with our investigators and a lot of them are progressing really well. Rafael is all ready for his baptism tomorrow night!! We are so excited. Another miracle we saw this week happened Monday evening after p-day. We had all our lessons cancel which was hard but we ended up finding a referral that was sent to us a few days prior from other Hermanas in the Everett WA mission. We get lots of referrals for Spanish speakers in our area so we didn't think too much about it until that Monday night when we read more about it. We were able to visit this guy, Enrique, that very night and have an amazing lesson with him. He is so ready for the gospel and is now preparing to be baptized later in April. Enrique is a complete miracle and I'm grateful that Heavenly Father put him in our path that night. Miracles in Dumas Bay!!

We had MLC this past week and we spent some time learning more about the last week of the Savior's life leading up to His crucifixion and resurrection. It was the perfect way to start this week leading up to Easter Sunday and General Conference weekend! I'm so excited to celebrate Holy Week or "La Semana Santa" in the mission field. Happy early Easter everyone!!

For a quick spiritual thought I wanted to share a quote from a book that my Grandma Barbara sent me this past week by Brad Wilcox. It's a perfect little book about the reason for the Easter season and has been a great read the past few days.

"Because of Christ on Calvary, we can know that the Creation, the Fall, and His Atonement are all part of an eternal plan for our progress and joy. Not only can we find answers to the questions of human suffering but also the help Jesus offers in the midst of the suffering. Because of the Christ on Calvary, we understand that no matter how many people give up on God, He never gives up on us. We can hold on to faith and receive the divine assistance we need to repent and become better. Because of Christ, spirituality and religion matter. Worship and discipleship matters. Truth matters. We matter-- all because of the Christ on Calvary."

I'm grateful for my Savior and this upcoming Easter season we have to focus on Him. I know that when we are willing, He can truly transform us. Have the best Easter ever this year and never forget that we are here because of the Christ on Calvary.

Quick birthday shoutout to Jimbo!!! It's his birthday today!! I'm so lucky to have a dad that doubles as my best friend. Jimbo is the best example to me of Christlike love and has taught me so many things. He has been my rock during my mission and deserves all the love today. Happy birthday Dadio!!!

I hope everyone has an amazing week and watches General Conference!! It's the best weekend of the year. Love you all tons!! You're in my prayers.

Sending love from Seattle!!
