Duo Life

First time in a duo!

Hi everyone!! Happy May!! I hope all of you are doing well!! It was a crazier week here in Federal Way but I'm grateful to be a missionary!

We were really busy again this week with lots of things going on! We had MLC up in Bellevue which is always so awesome to be a part of. My companion got her vaccination afterwards and on our way home we may or may not have gotten lost on the freeway and ended up in downtown Seattle haha! We were out of our mission boundaries for a few minutes which wasn't very smart but wow the Space Needle really is cool close up ;) Another thing that happened this week was moving into a new apartment! We finally left our weed house in the ghetto of Federal Way and I couldn't be happier!! We are thriving in our new place and finally do not have our normal morning headaches from the smoke!! So blessed.

We had a complete miracle this week! Thanks to the help of our zone leaders we found 2 new amazing people to teach. Bolivia and Joanna are so ready for the gospel and are actually the cousins of our recent convert, Rafael! It's amazing. They speak Spanish and English and we have had some great lessons with them. We're co-teaching them with the Elders and are helping them prepare to be baptized in the next month or two! They are so awesome and it's been so fun to see one of our brand new members get involved in missionary work. Pray for Bolivia and Joanna!

We studied humility a lot this week and gave a training on it during Zone Council. I would love to share something my mission President said a while ago that I really focused on this week.

"Humility can be knowing that we have a divine purpose beyond our comprehension."

This took me a little bit to fully understand but I really love what President Beardall said. This reminded me that Heavenly Father always has something greater in store for us that we sometimes can't even comprehend. We have to be humble to His plan and His will and He'll help us reach our divine potential as children of God. Being humble is hard but it's always worth as we see Heavenly Father shape us!

Happy Mother's day on Sunday to all the amazing moms in my life!! You all are such great support systems to me and are examples of Christlike love. My own sweet Momma is the best person I know and I'm beyond grateful to be her daughter.

& happy 20th birthday to Elder Rodriguez on Sunday!! Woohoo!!

I love you guys so much! Have another great week and I would appreciate all your prayers!!

Sending love from Seattle!!
