One Year!

One Year Celebration Ramen

Hi to all my favorite people!!! I hope everyone had a good week!! Ours was awesome and super busy. We have some great things happening here in the Dumas Bay Branch!

The work is going really well!! Unfortunately we've had a hard time having lessons with both Kelin and Bolivia lately which is a bummer but just part of the work. We hope they will both come around soon and haven't stopped praying for them! But we definitely had some miracles this week and were given people to teach thanks to some amazing members!! We met a member who just barely moved into the area from Missouri and he has started bringing his friend Manuel to church and to lessons! Our recent convert Rafael has also brought his friend Ismael to lessons and both of them are progressing really well!!! A cherry on top of all of that is that our friend Saul is preparing to be baptized in the next coming weeks. Pray for Saul!!

We had Zone Conferences this week and it was awesome as usual!! President Beardall reminded us that the mission is the MTC for life! Hahah kinda cheesy but it's so true.

I was able to go on lots of exchanges this past transfer and hear from the Hermanas that have been serving up in my old area, the Lake Washington ward. I was super happy to hear that my friend Liliana, who was baptized back in September, is going to the temple for the first time this week! She has a calling in the Relief Society now and brings her nonmember family to church every week. She is amazing!! I was over the moon to hear that she's really found a place in the ward and in the gospel. Stories like this make missionary life worth it for me!

This past Wednesday I hit one full year as a set apart missionary. So crazy!! Time has flown by but at the same time I'm convinced I haven't seen any of you wonderful people for at least a decade!! But overall I have absolutely loved my mission and all the experiences I've had the past 12 months. It has been far from easy but so fulfilling to see others change their lives to follow Jesus Christ. I know that this gospel is true and that we are living and leading eternal lives. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that knows us better than we know ourselves. I know that He gave us His son Jesus Christ so we can become happier and better through His Atonement. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and will always give us the Spirit that we need. I'm so grateful I've had the opportunity to share and grow this personal testimony of mine and that I have 6 more months of miracles as a full time missionary!!
