Plenty Busy

Just baking a few more batches of sugar cookies...

Hi everyone!! I blinked and another week has gone by filled with lots of good stuff. 

We've been plenty busy with lessons, exchanges and finding every day. We had a branch party this past Saturday and it was a blast! We had lots of people there and lots of nonmembers as well. There was tons of food, music, and dancing of course!! Being a missionary is the best excuse to get out of dancing at Latino parties haha it was really nice to have a way out. 

We saw lots of tender mercies in our efforts this past week and got to teach a lot of new people. The overall highlight was a lesson we had with the Landa family! We taught them the Plan of Salvation and it went so well. They are so prepared for the gospel!! We got the whole family involved in the lesson (I had to bribe the little girls with B of M coloring books haha) and the Spirit was really strong. We invited them to be baptized and now Hugo, Emma and their son Angel are preparing to be baptized in August! Such a blessing and a miracle that we found this family on the street! 

 

I'm learning everyday how important it is to follow the Spirit and give Heavenly Father our full effort. A miracle is always just right around the corner when we do!!
